We care for children and young people of all ages for both urgent and non-urgent urology needs.
For the younger age group, we have a unique working relationship with the urology department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. All of our consultants who treat young children work across both hospitals so that our patients benefit from their specialist skills.
For patients aged 13-18 we have a dedicated team covering a range of conditions, particularly specialising in reconstructive urology. These patients have the added benefit of being cared for within our Adolescent Services.
We provide care for children and young people with the following urological conditions:
- Hypospadias and chordee
- Absent or undescended testes
- Testicular torsion or tumour
- Testicular prostheses
- Urethral stricture
- Renal anomalies
- Bladder/voiding dysfunction
- Minor to severe congenital anomalies
- Disorders of sexual development
